Artist applications will open for the 43rd festival 2019 at 9:00am May 01 and close at midnight June 20 2018.
A celebration of music, culture and community, Port Fairy Folk Festival welcomes all applications from artists across a range of genres including music, theatre, spoken/written word, street theatre, children’s entertainment, dance and comedy.
The Festival takes place both in the Arena and a selection of venues throughout the Village of Port Fairy. If successful, your schedule of venues and times will be at the discretion of the Program Director. The Program Team work very hard to ensure that each schedule provides the best possible benefit to both the artist and the Festival.
The application process is highly competitive. Each year Port Fairy receives approximately 1000 applications, of which we can only book approximately 100 acts. Please note that due to the volume of applications we are unable to notify all unsuccessful applicants. If you have not been contacted by the end of September, please assume that your application has been unsuccessful.

If your form does not submit, scroll through until you find the highlighted problem, enter the missing details and try again. When your application is successful, you will receive a copy of your application to the email address you supplied in the act contact section.
